XELR8, Closing The Doors Forever?
XELR8 another MLM bites the dust. The resent news has shocked most of the distributors and especially the new members who were not able to even set up there business the proper way.
XELR8 has send out a email to their current distributor base, basically telling them that as of February 28, 2010 the current Compensation and Multi Level Marketing Program will be terminated.
Although XELR8 is not closing their doors for good, but they are going to rebuild with an alternative business model. In return XELR8 is offering all active distrubitors a program to participate in, which will be released on February 3rd, 2010.
No matter the reasons why XELR8 had to change the whole business structure, but what matters is, what happens to their independent Distributors. Most of their members never had the chance to make money online, nor did they have a fighting chance to build their own business.
Most of them will be left behind due simply losing the trust and confidence in the companies decision making. Some will be able to move on without any major interruptions and for those who can’t, need to rethink their online present.
But reality is that no matter what company, it could shut down at any moment and without warning. And if the members put all their efforts into marketing a replicated Website and building a mailing list within the system that will be lost for good, which means your business is dead.

Yes, Thomas…if these XELR8ers had multiple streams of income set up then they’ll be okay…. If they had leaders who guided them to do that, that is. That’s sad news for the distributors. As you guys said, the marketers who developed a system to market themselves instead of their business will not have a problem to get back on their feet quickly.
Great tips Thomas. To be a successful entrepreneur, you have to brand yourself as a leader where people will follow you no matter what company you joined. If the leaders know they are changing opportunities, their followers should change also. Building multiple streams of income helps transition this a lot easier.
Thomas- thanks for the information about another MLM company that failed to fully plan. It is sad that many rookie MLMers will get a bad taste and once again failure will be their experience. Hope some of them will get on board and start branding themselves
